Methodology
How Ruqelo teaches spoken Arabic
The method is simple and inspectable: hear a phrase, see Arabic script with learner transliteration, then speak it in a realistic situation. Ruqelo AI helps you rehearse. It does not replace a teacher, interpreter, clinician, or qualified religious authority.
Who this method fits
- Adults who learn better by speaking than by grammar tables
- People who need a dialect for a real place or job
- Learners who want Arabic script and a reading aid at the same time
- Anyone who prefers honest product limits over marketing magic
The practice loop
- Hear — premium audio and live voice on entitled plans
- See — Arabic script, transliteration, and English meaning together
- Speak — pronunciation drills, roleplay, and Companion where your plan includes them
- Return — progress and history stay in the signed-in app, not on public pages
Dialect methodology
Each spoken track is taught as its own path. Saudi, Emirati, Bahraini, Omani, Palestinian, and Syrian are not collapsed into one generic “Arabic.” We do not claim complete coverage of every local variety inside a country, and we do not advertise dialects that are not in the product yet.
AI and human review
Curriculum phrases on public pages are existing, reviewed product content. AI conversation is a practice tool. We do not claim named external linguistic boards, clinical validation, or religious certification. If a process is partly automated, we describe it that way.
Specialist-content standards
Healthcare pages are communication practice only. Hajj & Umrah pages are travel language only. For clinical accuracy use a qualified interpreter. For ritual rulings consult trusted qualified religious authorities.
Frequently asked questions
Will AI make me sound native?
No. Practice can make you clearer and more confident. We do not promise a native accent or certified proficiency.
Is Companion included for every plan?
Companion and live voice depend on the plan and remaining voice credits. Check pricing for current entitlements.
Do you teach Modern Standard Arabic yet?
The current public product focuses on spoken dialect tracks and specialist communication. MSA and additional dialects are not advertised as available until they actually ship.
